My story
My name is James Pelton, I’m an Entrepreneur and the CEO of Mobile Text Alerts.
Above is a picture of my family. Myself, my wife Alyssa, my daughter Ella (age 6), my son Hayden (age 4), and my son Everett (age 1).
As a self-taught entrepreneur, I founded Mobile Text Alerts in 2011 and to date, we have doubled its annual revenue every year.
When I had my first child (Ella) in 2012, I was working as a software engineer.
I had a good job, that paid well, and I enjoyed it.
What I didn’t enjoy, was that I was working 8am-5pm every day.
I would leave for work at 7, get home at 6, and put Ella to bed at 7:30pm each night.
I quickly realized that if I kept my life how in the direction it was going, I was going to spend 10 hours per day working, and only 2 hours per day with my children.
This led me to start my own business.
I worked evenings, while keeping my day job with the hope that some day I could be my own boss, work from home, and spend more time with my family.
Eventually, that happened. I grew Mobile Text Alerts to the point that I could quit my software engineering job, and worked from home as my own boss.
While working at Mobile Text Alerts, it became my passion to help others who want to start their own business, by their own boss, set their own hours, and spend more time with their family.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my family, watching sports, and serving as the college pastor at my church.
How did you get involved with Paparazzi?
Through our work at Mobile Text Alerts, thousands of consultants have used Mobile Text Alerts to grow their Paparazzi business.
In the summer of 2018, we sent out a survey to about 5,000 consultants asking what other problems Paparazzi consultants had.
What we found, was that most Paparazzi consultants are struggling.
They are struggling to get customers, struggling to get sales, and struggling to get people to show up at their live sales.
While reading that survey, I began to see the pain that so many consultants were in because of their struggling business.
Me and my team decided to devote ourselves to helping Paparazzi consultants grow their businesses, and stop struggling.

That’s what this blog (Bling Academy) is intended to do, help educate you (for free) to grow your business.
We also provide a free Facebook Group (Paparazzi Success Strategies) which is a community for Paparazzi consultants to bounce ideas off of each other.
