One tool you can utilize to boost your business is your personal Facebook profile.
How how can you use your personal Facebook profile for your business?
Here are some steps!
Step 1: Create a Personal Profile
Most people already have a Facebook profile but if you don’t, go ahead and create one.
A Facebook profile is a free tool you’ll need to get the most success out of your jewelry business!
Step 2: Include Photos of Your Jewelry
On your Facebook profile you have your profile photo and your cover photo.
You can have pictures of yourself and your family or whatever else you would like in those pictures, but they should also include your jewelry (i.e., you wearing your jewelry).
Step 3: Update Your Bio
Your bio section should tell people about who you are and what you enjoy. It should include something about your business.
Here you can also include a link to your VIP group so that you can funnel people who may be interested in your business to a group that will primarily have business-related posts.
Step 4: Set Your Profile to Public
We know some people are nervous about privacy and security. But you have to put yourself out there if you want to get new customers
If no one can see your profile, it’s going to be hard to get new people to see you. So set your privacy to public, and then look at your personal profile as kind of like your business card. It’s a way to pique people’s interest, with a goal to then filter them over to your VIP group.
Step 5: Request Friends!
Be constantly requesting new friends.
Try to hit a goal of friend requests per day – maybe 5. The more people you can expose to your business the more likely your business can grow.
Step 6: Post Pictures and Stories
Post pictures of your jewelry from time to time.
Post testimonials and pictures of people who have purchased your products and loved them.
If you were able to make a big purchase, such as a car, because of your business, post a picture of that and let people know how you were able to afford it.
Don’t overload people with your business – post just enough to pique people’s interest and as mentioned previously, try to get them into your VIP group.
