4 Tips for Running the Most Effective Live Sales

Live sales are a huge factor in the success of a consultant at this time.

If you aren’t doing live sales, or aren’t doing them effectively, you will have a hard time finding success in your jewelry business.

That being said, you want to do all you can to get the most out of your lives. Today we’ll start a series of 18 tips to help you run the most effective live sales possible! Here are the first 4 tips.

1. Go Live Often

There’s no set amount for how often you should go live, but generally the more you go live the better.

Even if hardly anyone shows up it’s still beneficial for engagement. And you never know who may watch the replay!

If you need a starting point, try going live twice per week (say on Wednesday and Friday) and then adjust as you find your groove.

2. Go Live Consistently

If possible, try to go live on the same days/times so that people come to expect it.

For example, you could make it a point to go live at 8pm on Wednesdays and Fridays each week. If you are consistent enough, your audience may come to expect your lives and make it a part of their routine.

3. Get the Right Equipment

When you’re first starting, all you really need is a smartphone, tablet, or a computer with a camera. If using a phone or tablet, you’ll need to prop it up with something or have someone hold it for you.

Eventually you may want to invest in a tripod to hold up your phone. You can get a nice tripod for $20-$30.

After that, a microphone may be a good investment. A simple lapel mic isn’t too expensive.

If you usually go live in the evenings, you may want to consider purchasing some lighting to help your lives look better.

4. Present Yourself Professionally

You don’t need to dress up fancy, but you want to look a little professional. Be yourself, but don’t be a sloppy version of yourself.

Brush your hair, make sure your nails look nice (particularly if you’re going to be modeling rings). While you don’t want to pretend to be something you’re not, if you don’t put in much effort you may be communicating that it’s not very important to you.

Hopefully these tips will help you get the most out of your live sales! Stay tuned for more. 🙂
