No one is an island.
What does that mean, exactly?
It means that you aren’t off in your own little world.
Whether you realize or not, you are interconnected with people. You need them and they need you.
The same is true when it comes to your jewelry business. You are not an island – you can’t do it on your own.
You need support – whether that be emotionally (people to help cheer you on) or intellectually (people to help you grow as a businessperson).
Here are 4 places you can find this kind of support.
1. Your family
If possible, you want to get your family on board with your business, particularly your spouse (if married).
It won’t be good for you if your business causes a rift in family ties! Family can be a huge support system to help you provide the encouragement and motivation you need.
2. Your church
For many of you, church may be the place where you have the closest friends – people who care about you and want you to succeed.
Get these people on your side as you pursue your business and let them come alongside you as your cheerleaders.
3. Your upline
Your upline could be a great source of encouragement and advice. After all, they benefit from your success so they want you to succeed!
Don’t be afraid to ask questions of your upline and if they are successful consultants, copy some of the things they do.
4. Online community
The internet is full of resources. Social media particularly offers a lot of opportunities to connect with people you would otherwise never even know about.
Why not check around social media and see if you can find groups like our Jewelry Success Strategies group where you can ask questions and get support?
