It’s a rainy day here today in Roca, Nebraska.
Rainy days always make me feel unmotivated, and that I should just lazily sit around.
Being your own boss, in many ways, is a lot more difficult than working for an employer.
When you work for an employer, it doesn’t really matter if you feel motivated or not, you have to go to work, and you have to do your job, or you will get fired.
When you are your own boss–when you sell Paparazzi on your own schedule–there is no one holding you accountable to “work hard” today.
If it is rainy, and you are discouraged, and you just don’t feel like working, there is very little making you work.
That’s what I want to write today, is just a quick motivator and reminder to be consistent in your business.
You might not feel like going live today, you might not feel like talking to a stranger and selling them jewelry. But being consistent, when you don’t feel like it, is key to success.
Most business growth doesn’t happen all at once, it happens slowly, with day-by-day growth.
So today, keep going.
If you are discouraged, if it is raining, if you feel unmotivated, ignore what you feel, and just do what you know needs to be done.
Tomorrow will be a new day, and that motivation will return.
