Welcome to the Paparazzi Success Course. This is Day 1 of 7

The title of today’s lesson is “Copy What Works.” Some people think that it is dishonest or unethical to copy other people. They think to be “genuine”, you should do everything your own way, and figure it out as you go along. This is not good advice! 

Every single successful Paparazzi consultant I have ever met has talked about how many ideas they have taken from other people. 

There is no reason for you to re-invent the wheel. If you want to be where someone else already is, it is smart and logical to follow in their footsteps. 

That is the main idea behind this course. Rather than new consultants wandering around and guessing what their next step should be, just look at someone who has already been there, and follow in their footsteps.

Do you have a mentor Paparazzi Consultant who is successful? Use them as a resource!

And this is a process that never stops.

One top 100 consultant mentioned that even they looked around at all the different retailers they knew and researched what they liked and didn’t like from each group.

This same consultant recently decided that they needed better lighting for their live sales. Better lighting makes the products look better, seems more professional, and helps your customers enjoy the sale more. (Don’t worry, we will have a full day on Live Sale best practices coming up :)).

This top 100 consultant didn’t just “guess” on what lighting would work best, she reached out and researched all the consultants she knew and saw what was working for them! Even consultants who didn’t have as many sales still helped her get the information she needed to get the best lighting possible.

All-in-all, what we would like you to take away from Day 1 of this course is look around at all the consultants you know and copy what works.

Actionable Exercise For Day 1:
Go look at the group of the most successful Paparazzi retailer you know and make a list of three things that you like about this group and what you think make them successful. Now incorporate those things into your group!

The purpose of this exercise is to make you comfortable with looking at other consultants and using their ideas to make your business more successful.
